The Grow Project is a registered non-profitable organization in Langebaan, that provide less fortunate people with career opportunities by teaching arts and crafts, business skills, creating self-worth, confidence and growing individuals’ dreams and talents.
Their aim is to increase the social living standards of South African families, due to the increased unemployment on the West Coast with the fishing industry and other factories scaling down.
People learn how to manufacture handmade: shoes, handbags, beads, beaded items, hammocks, placemats, promotional gifts, chandeliers and jewellery.
Grow Project provide all training, material and marketing of individual’s products.
Sales to the public and exporting of their items will support our people & their families and assist the project with future growth and reaching more people.
The Grow Project further aim to grow people’s dreams and talents and started the Marimba Band and Performing Arts.
The mission of this West Coast Community project is to ‘hold hands’ and work towards GLOBAL CHANGE – Improving: poverty, uplifting people, growing hope, creating business opportunities, growing dreams & talents.
